Memon English Medium School was inaugurated on 17th August 2008 with
the total strength of 80 students has now
made sincere efforts and succeeded in standing up to its reputation of
being an educational institution par excellence. We now have total strengths of
436 students.
ACADEMICS-
In academics our children have shown very progressive results. This year they
have prepared various projects on different subjects as per the requirement of
state Board of Maharashtra.
COMPUTER -
In today’s technological world we have prepared our children in technical
skills also. The school posseses a well equiped computer laboratory where
students from U.K.G to V can avail all the computer education. All the staff
members are computer literate and help the students make utmost use of
computers.
This year we had
various activities in the field of computer education like model exhibition,
project exhibition, typing test and Diwali vacation classes in which we taught
something apart from the syllabus. This year our students of STD 4th
and 5th have prepared a
PowerPoint Presentation on various topics which are very new and innovative.
EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES – We celebrated Janmastmi festival by performing
dahi handi. On Independence day we had flag hosting followed by patriotic songs
and dances. We celebrated teacher’s day, hindi diwas, raksha Bandhan with lot
of fun and frolic.all the students took part in craft exhibition each class was
given different topics.(e.g. houses, public places). We had Dassera and Eid ul
Zuha festivals celebrated together. We had a Christmas party in which we had
games competition and entertainment by Santa’s entry in the party. On 19th
and 20th December we had medical checkup. We had four doctors for :
Eye check up, Dental check up, Heights and Weight check up, and over all body
check up. And students were given digital reports.
18th January
2013 we had a school picnic to “ Chowki dhani “ Marathi Tadka at Wagholi.
We celebrated
Republic Day by flag hosting and various
patriotic theme items by our students.
